What Inkspire stores

When you register, we store your name, username, email address, password hash, and account role. Your biography, profile photo, posts, likes, bookmarks, and comments are stored when you add them. Contact messages include the name, email, subject, and message you submit.

What others can see

Your name, username, biography, profile photo, published posts, and approved comments are public. Your email, drafts, bookmarks, and password hash are not displayed publicly. Administrators can manage accounts, posts, moderation, and contact messages.

Cookies and browser storage

Inkspire uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms. Your light or dark theme preference is stored in your browser. Views are counted once per article in a browser session over a 24-hour period. This installation does not include advertising or third-party analytics.

Security and service providers

We hash passwords, use expiring password reset tokens, validate uploads, and restrict account access. IP addresses are hashed into local rate-limit keys for abuse prevention. Google Fonts may receive your browser’s request when fonts load. Article images may come from an external address if a writer embeds one.

Retention and your choices

Your content and account data remain until deleted by an administrator. Contact messages remain until the team deletes them. To request a copy, correction, or deletion of your information, use the contact form. Deleting an account removes its posts, comments, likes, and bookmarks; activity entries may remain without the user’s identity.
